Lobby digital signage and digital directories
A visitor stands in your lobby for 90 seconds to 3 minutes: checking in, waiting for a host, looking for the directory. Most buildings still give them a printed list in a glass case. We replace it with a coordinated set of screens that all read from one record, so when a tenant moves floors, every screen knows by lunch.
Single lobby, 4 to 7 screens: $11,000 to $22,000 · (347) 410-6890

The five lobby screens, and which ones you need
| Screen | Typical spec | Do you need it? |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome board | 43" or 55" landscape, visitor name and host | Yes, if you host clients |
| Digital directory signage | 55" portrait, alphabetical and by floor; or 21.5" touch | Yes, for any multi-tenant or multi-department building |
| Wayfinding panel | 49" landscape at the elevator bank, floor-by-floor map | Only if visitors get lost now |
| Check-in display | 21.5" touchscreen, linked to Envoy, Proxyclick or Sine | If you already run visitor management |
| Brand video wall | 1×3 strip behind reception or a 2×2 of 55" | Nice to have; $16,000 to $36,000 |
Our honest default for a single-tenant office: a welcome board and one big screen behind reception. Skip the wall until you know what you'd put on it.
Lobby programs by building type
Multi-tenant office. Directory listing every tenant by name and floor, with a language toggle. Property management edits the master record, tenants get their own promo slot, security keeps emergency override.
Corporate headquarters. Welcome board, brand wall behind reception, conference-room status for the day. 10 to 15 screens with room-status integration run $26,000 to $48,000.
Hospital or clinic. Department directory and on-call rotations pulled from the scheduling system, kept separate from clinical screens.
Hotel. Arrival welcome, event-of-the-day board for the banquet floor, brand video by daypart.
Government entrance. Department directory, queue-position display, English, Spanish and Mandarin cycling, ADA-compliant audio.

What makes lobby screens fail
Three things, all fixable. Stale directories, because nobody owns the record; we set one owner and one source. Screens left on 24 hours in a lobby that's empty at night; we schedule them off and the panels last longer. And brand walls running a stretched 16:9 video on a 1×3 strip; plan content for the wall's real shape before you buy it.

Common questions
Lobby and directory questions
How much does lobby digital signage cost?
A single-lobby program of 4 to 7 screens runs $11,000 to $22,000 installed. A multi-tenant lobby with conference-room status (10 to 15 screens) runs $26,000 to $48,000. A brand video wall adds $16,000 to $36,000 depending on whether it's a 1×3 strip, a 2×2 or a 3×3.
What are good lobby signage ideas?
The lobby screens that earn their place are a welcome board with today's visitors, a digital directory by name and floor, a wayfinding panel at the elevator bank, a check-in screen tied to visitor management and, if there's budget, a brand wall behind reception. For a single-tenant office we'd start with the welcome board and one large screen behind reception, and skip the wall until you know what you'd put on it.
What goes on hotel lobby digital signage?
Hotel lobby digital signage usually carries an arrival welcome, an event-of-the-day board for the banquet floor, wayfinding at the elevator bank and brand video that changes by daypart, all scheduled ahead from one Dashboard instead of being changed by hand each morning.
What goes on lift lobby digital signage?
A lift lobby screen is usually a 49-inch landscape panel mounted at the elevator bank, showing a floor-by-floor map and directory, often alongside company or building news, because that's where visitors stop, wait and look for where to go next. In offices, the elevator bank is also where internal news gets read most, on a 43 or 55-inch screen at $3,150 to $3,450 installed.
Can the digital directory update in real time?
Yes. Edit a tenant, department or on-call doctor once in the Dashboard and every lobby and floor screen updates from the same record within seconds. Property management edits the master list; tenants can edit only their own slot.
Touchscreen or static directory?
Static for most buildings: a 55-inch portrait screen listing tenants alphabetically and by floor, with a language toggle if you need one. Touch makes sense when the list is long enough that people need to search, like a hospital or a large multi-tenant tower. Touch kiosks use 21.5-inch screens at ADA height (48-inch centerline max).
Does visitor check-in connect to our system?
Yes, we integrate the touchscreen with the visitor-management system you already run. Envoy, Proxyclick and Sine are the most common. The host gets notified, the badge prints, and the front desk sees who's waiting.
Can a lobby screen show room bookings?
Yes. Microsoft Outlook (Graph), Google Workspace, Robin and Teem are the room-booking systems we connect most. The lobby screen shows which rooms are free and who's hosting.
